Happy “Belated” Birthday Dangerbox – 3rd Year

Ahem…Dangerbox turned 3 years old… *looks around* last month.

It’s not that we forgot our own birthday, it happens. Our schedule started to get busy, especially in the summer. However, we still want to do something, albeit belated, but hey its our birthday and we do what we want!

What’s coming down the pipeline in the future for db?

A nifty Mash-UP compilation by db artist/DJ Luv Velo. He is currently sifting through all of our releases and finding awesome combinations and vocal hooks to smash together into one huge CD compilation. Not sure as to what CAT number yet, but it will be available and ready hopefully towards November of this year.

Our 100th release is nearing soon. DANGBX100 will be known as db100. We can’t believe it, we release DANGBX001 and having no idea what the future holds, but DANGBX100 is in the works and it will be HUGE! Thank you to all the FANS supporting us for these past 3 years.

The db family has grown and evolved a LOT since our inception. I remember the days when we were scouting for new artists online, but now some of the most innovative producers we have met, come to find us. It is a humbling thought, and one I think we at Dangerbox have taken for granted. Our producers/artists are some of the most creative and free thinkers I know. Without them we have nothing, and can’t accomplish the db sound.

Here at db we do things differently, and one of the recurring different things has been a sort of reverse birthday bash. The fan gets all the gifts. So expect free T-shirts. Black db shirts and white db shirts like these :
